IT Architecture and Development Client 1

Oracle EBS ERP:  Rogers hired BIS to assist in post-implementation help related to recent Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) go-live.  Within first 4 weeks, order flow, returns processing, and inventory integrity was dramatically improved to business-as-usual state service level.  BIS executed detailed root-cause analysis of top impacting issues, formulated detailed solutions, and drove implementation of each resolution.

Quick-wins:  After stabilization work, BIS continued to implement identified quick-wins to further streamline order fulfillment and DC operations.

Supply Chain Next Phase:  BIS continued after Quick-wins to define medium and long-term higher investment opportunities.  Opportunities / project definitions went into medium and long term supply chain strategic planning and budgeting.

  • Led integration and mapping projects for EDI X12 document set to/from XML enterprise business objects, including full end-to end interface testing – WMS, ERP, with internal systems and customer trading partner.  EDI transaction set: 856, 861, 940, 945, 888, 947, 846.
  • Manhattan WMS Systems implementation – design, config, integration, testing, deployment, support.  Deployment included cloud based implementation on Azure.
  • 9 Distribution centers supported.
  • SQL report writing & configuration changes in support of operational objectives.
  • Application management strategy of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) based WMS system with Ubuntu linux and Proxmox virtualization.

  • Application integration platform strategy – SEYC GOLD ERP and WMS systems.
  • Change management processes via Subversion toolset for SEYC GOLD.
  • Processes for SEYC Goldcen Application Patch installation and management.
  • Windows & Linux. VM provisioning in VMWare vCenter. Windows Server and RedHat Linux OS, RHEL 6.5 & 7.2, Oracle 11g DB.

  • ESB integration and interfaces for PO, ASN, Receipt Conf, Inventory Adjustment, Invt Snapshot, Distro Orders, Ship Confirm, TMS routing, OSN shipping notice to TMS.
  • Large-scale enterprise Manhattan WMOS Suite of Open Systems applications implementation, Labour Management, Slotting, Supply Chain Intelligence.
  • Technical Lead for many Production WMS implementations involving install, setup, ESB integration with SAP and JDA TMS, testing, and conversions.
  • 19 DC’s stood up on Manhattan WMOS.  Most DC’s converted in a single phase.  DC sizes ranging from 400K to 1.3M sq.ft.
  • Created processes for, and managed numerous custom Manhattan modifications and Software Delivery Notifications to deploy across all test and production environments.
  • Design build strategy (and assist in actual build out) for approx. 100 Manhattan lower test environments.
  • Lower environment data refreshes, code release deployments and EIS interface mapping.
  • Code Release Management strategy and execution between Dev, Test, UAT and Production environments.
  • Production & Test environment Defect analysis and resolution.
  • Guide Manhattan vendor toward proper defect resolution as well as assist directly in problem resolution.
  • Production & Test environment system performance analysis.  Created custom scripts, nmon and Oracle Enterprise Manager for performance analysis and monitoring.
  • Assisted in creating Production support process for 21 Distribution Centers on AIX & Linux platforms with Oracle databases.
  • Designed and assisted in development phase for Web based JSP/JSF enhancements to  LCL Promo Systems.
